Trump Absolutely Levels ‘Kooky’ Tucker Carlson After Podcaster Predicts Early End to Presidency – RedState

President Trump has come out swinging against “Kooky” Tucker Carlson after the podcaster and former Fox News host predicted the demise of Trump’s presidency if the United States were to get involved in the escalating hostilities between Israel and Iran. While Trump and Carlson have seemed chummy at times in recent years, Carlson rather infamously texted a friend back in 2021 of his eagerness to see the backside of the president, saying, “I hate him passionately.”

Things between the two got very heated Monday after Carlson appeared on Steve Bannon’s “War Room” show and claimed Iran would be the president’s ultimate downfall. Despite claiming to “really love Trump” and calling him a “deeply humane person,” Carlson went on to say that any U.S. involvement in Iran would “end Trump’s presidency.”

Breaking: Trump Declares Iran Cannot Have a Nuclear Weapon, Warns People to Evacuate Tehran ‘Immediately’

Word of Carlson’s remarks predicting Trump’s presidential demise apparently made its way up to Canada, where President Trump was participating in the G7 Summit. During a press gaggle with U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer, the president was asked about Carlson declaring Trump to be “complicit in the [Israel-Iran] war.” Mr. Trump did not hold back, telling Carlson he needed to find a bigger platform because he “didn’t know what” the podcaster was talking about.

Shortly after these remarks, President Trump followed up with a Truth Social post pleading for someone to explain to “Kooky Tucker Carlson” that Iran must not be allowed to have a nuclear weapon.

Throughout his appearance on “War Room,” Carlson relayed to Bannon his disgust at the idea of the U.S. becoming involved in any military action against Iran, saying any such involvement would “scuttle the USS America on the shoals of Iran.” Trump has been firm on his stance that the state of Iran must not be allowed nuclear weapons, something that clearly irks Carlson.

Israel has reportedly been making some inroads in crippling Iran’s nuclear facilities, but Israeli leaders have admitted that they, realistically, cannot completely wipe out Iran’s nuclear capabilities on their own.

“There’s no way to destroy a nuclear programme by military means,” Israel’s National Security Adviser Tzachi Hanegbi told Israel’s Channel 13 TV. The military campaign could, however, create conditions for a deal with the United States that would thwart the nuclear programme.

Whether or not President Trump feels compelled to commit U.S. forces to achieving total annihilation of Iran’s nuclear facilities remains to be seen, but RedState’s Susie Moore has some late-breaking news Monday evening from the G7 Summit that is very interesting indeed: President Trump is cutting short his trip to Canada and will meet with his national security team upon his return to the White House.

Things appear to be ratcheting up in the Middle East. On Monday evening, after refusing to sign a rather tepid statement on the Iran-Israel situation proffered by other G7 leaders, President Donald Trump posted to Truth Social a warning that “Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran!”

Not long after, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt tweeted that Trump, who arrived in Canada Sunday evening for the G7 summit, would be heading home after Monday’s dinner.

As of publication of this article, Tucker Carlson had not responded to the president’s remarks.

RedState will, of course, bring you all the latest news surrounding President Trump’s return to Washington, DC.
