Dem Rep. Jasmine Crockett (TX-30) has been a lightning rod for criticism due to her outlandish statements, ever-changing accents, and generally reprehensible behavior. Yet somehow, she thought she was ready for the United States Senate.
The voters are weighing in, and their answer so far is: yeah, maybe not so much.
Although the official vote count has not been made final, Crockett trails at this hour to her competitor, TX state representative James Talarico. There’s already some legal back and forth, and courts are involved, so the final outcome may not be confirmed for days. Already, though, Crockett is blaming her poor performance on… election fraud.
Wait, I thought it was a danger to Democracy to even suggest such things could ever occur in the United States of America?
A downcast Crockett went there anyway:
Jasmine Crockett suggests there was cheating in her election
I thought questioning election results was a threat to our democracy and it’s impossible for any cheating to happen?! pic.twitter.com/FJE1Soo1j4

Jasmine:
We encourage each and every one of you to remain resilient.
We cannot allow this type of behavior to be rewarded, because so long as they know that they can win, even if it means cheating, then they will continue to do it.
So I am asking you, I am begging you, to make sure that you go ahead and figure out where it is that you are supposed to vote. Stand in line, wait in line…
Things could change, but the numbers don’t look good for her as of this writing. She knows why:
Democratic Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett is raising concerns about the integrity of her Senate race, accusing political opponents of “cheating” as new polling shows her trailing in the contest.
Crockett made the accusation while addressing supporters and discussing the state of the race, arguing that irregularities and unfair tactics may be contributing to her campaign’s struggles in the polls. While she did not immediately provide detailed evidence to support the claim, the remarks have quickly drawn attention across the political landscape as the race intensifies.
The Senate contest has been closely watched, with both parties pouring resources into the race as candidates compete for voter support. Crockett’s comments are likely to further inflame tensions in an already heated campaign, as critics push back against her allegations while supporters argue the election process should be scrutinized closely.
🚨 LMFAO! Jasmine Crockett is ALREADY coming out and saying there was CHEATING in the Democrat US Senate Primary in Texas, as it’s looking like she’ll lose
But wait: I thought Democrat cheating was just a “CONSPIRACY THEORY”?! 🤣 pic.twitter.com/AWp01jrRrU

MORE: Breaking: GOP Headed for a Runoff in Texas Senate Primary
Jasmine Crockett’s Policy Page Finally Drops—and It’s a Hilarious Trainwreck
Crockett was such a sourpuss that she even ditched her own election watch party:
Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) told supporters she was going to leave her own watch party after votes in Dallas County were delayed.
“We need to see the Dallas County votes to see where they are,” she said, per NOTUS, accusing the GOP of having “specifically targeted” Democratic voters.
“I want you to enjoy yourselves,” the opponent of James Talarico said. “But I won’t be back tonight because I have no idea of when we’re going to get results, and I fully anticipate it won’t be until tomorrow.”
If either Talarico or Crockett were victorious, they would face off against TX Attorney General Ken Paxton or incumbent Sen. John Cornyn, two Republicans who are now headed to a runoff following Tuesday night’s GOP primary.
Texas is certainly keeping it interesting.
