Don Lemon, the dismissed CNN entertainer who is facing a federal case for allegedly violating the constitutional right of church-goers in Minnesota to worship, who has attacked President Donald Trump repeatedly over his efforts to enforce immigration and border law, and who demanded that Trump be disinvited from an annual White House correspondents’ dinner, says he’d be a great presidential candidate.

So maybe America could go from “President Don” Trump to “President Don” Lemon?

“I could definitely run this country better than Donald Trump,” Lemon said. “Why can’t I think about running for office? Why can’t I think about being president of the United States?”

He likened himself to Barack Obama, wondering just who would have thought that somebody with that odd name ever would be elected.

Actually, Obama was a sitting U.S. senator, a desk from which multiple presidential campaigns have been launched, compared to Lemon’s failed career in broadcast.

He confirmed there are “no aspirations” to the office, and actually, he claimed his expertise would be in running a “news organization.”

“I could come in and fix the bulk of their problems in lickety split.”

“I know people are going to think I’m crazy. This is going to be the headline, and people are going to laugh about it,” he admitted.

He was fired from CNN in 2023 when he commented about women in their 40s being past their prime.

He’s in legal jeopardy for taking part in an invasive protest of federal immigration law enforcement in which he and others blocked a Christian church from its worship service, interrupted the congregants’ constitutional right to worship in their faith, and more.

WorldNetDaily previously reported when he likened American to Iran on free speech issues, including killing protesters, during a Friday episode of “This is Gavin Newsom.”

The Daily Caller News Foundation said, “While there have been some isolated shootings by Department of Homeland Security agents of individuals who opposed President Donald Trump’s immigration policy, Iranian security forces reportedly massacred 30,000 anti-regime protesters in the lead-up to the U.S. conflict with Iran. Yet Lemon suggested on the podcast that America lacked “moral authority” over the Islamic Republic after host Gavin Newsom asked him about the January FBI raid of Washington Post reporter Hannah Natanson’s home and devices.
