Paul Pelosi, the husband of ex-House Speaker Rep. Nancy Pelosi, a Democrat from California, has been given a six-month prohibition on driving for his hit-and-run accident earlier this year.

He’s also being given a year of probation, a 10-day work program and financial penalties. He pleaded no contest to the case in Napa County. Further, he paid more than $11,000 in restitution and also court fees and fines.

It happened last summer that Pelosi, 86, struck a vehicle that was parked along the road and then fled.

The case followed by only four years his DUI conviction.

Law enforcement officers found Pelosi, after the accident in which he hit a parked Tesla, half a mile away.

It was Napa County Superior Court Judge Scott R.L. Young who imposed the punishments.

Reports say Pelosi allegedly was driving a burgundy Maserati convertible when the crash occurred.

WorldNetDaily had reported authorities said Pelosi didn’t know what happened, “so he kept driving.”

“He drove until his car became disabled and was no longer able to continue driving.”

It was witnesses to the crash who called 911.
