Attack on Agent With Gruesome Injury, National Guard Activated – RedState

Things are heating up in the wake of a shooting earlier on Saturday in Minneapolis involving the Border Patrol that resulted in the death of a man.

The anti-ICE crew reacted by creating more chaos.

Protesters flooded the streets jeering at masked agents, with some blowing loud whistles – while federal forces fired repeated volleys of tear gas trying to disperse the crowds.

Rioters tossed trash cans atop an armored vehicle and other projectiles, while screaming, “F- – k you!” at armed officers.

“About 200 rioters arrived at the scene and began to obstruct and assault law enforcement on the scene, crowd control measures were deployed for the safety of the public and law enforcement,” the Department of Homeland Security said in a statement after the incident.

If the protesters fell down here, they would doubtless blame the agents even as they were trying to block the vehicle.

They were even dragging trash cans and dumpsters into the middle of the street to block off the streets in the area of the shooting where the police were, creating a “no-go” zone.

One Homeland Security agent even lost part of his finger in the violence, according to DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. She said one of the rioters “bit off our HSI officer’s finger…He will lose his finger.” President Donald Trump posted a picture of the agent and the finger.

Warning for graphic image:

It’s pretty clear that they’re also gearing up for more action, so it’s likely to be a busy night.

They’re already boarding things up; they know what could be coming.

Democrats aren’t calming things; they just keep ratcheting up the verbiage.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz called in the National Guard to help secure the Whipple Federal Building, which has been used by immigration authorities as a detention center, “due to the potential for continuing and growing conflict.”

The National Guardsmen were also sent to the site of the shooting.

Hopefully, that will quell some of the craziness, but we’ll have to see how they are deployed.

We’ll keep you updated.
