‘Creepy Joe’ Is Back and Gets Too Close, the Expression on Female Journo’s Face Says It All – RedState

Former President Joe Biden is back in action, as we previously reported, giving a belated Memorial Day-themed speech in his home state of Delaware roughly a week and a half after the announcement that he had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer.

As my RedState colleague Bonchie noted, it was a classic Biden speech, containing flubs, incoherence, “Angry Joe” shouts, and a moment where it appeared Biden had forgotten the words to the Declaration of Independence.

After the speech concluded, Biden held an informal press gaggle with reporters where some rather “interesting” things happened.

In true mainstream media fashion, one “question” that was asked by a (male) reporter sounded like it was written by a member of Joe Biden’s comms team:

“I feel like everybody didn’t know what to expect with you today. And then you get here and you’re speaking powerfully. You look good. You’re confident. What do you say to all those people? Don’t count you out?”

Totally hard-hitting stuff there. Might even be in contention for a Pulitzer. We’ll provide an update when and if that happens.

But in a truly cringeworthy moment and one we’ve seen all too often from Biden over the years, a female journalist asked him why it was important for him to be there that day.

In response, he not only creepily got in her face (exchange starts at around the 40-second mark of the video below), but also did that weird whispering thing we saw often during his four years in office.

The look on her face during and afterward said it all:

As also noted in the above clip, Biden told reporters that “the expectation is we’re going to be able to beat this” and that the “prognosis is good.”  He also claimed one of the surgeons he was working with “was diagnosed with the same exact thing 32 years ago” and was “alive and well, doing very well.”

He also stated the cancer had not “penetrated” his bones, which was an odd statement considering the original announcement from his personal office shared that “he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with metastasis to the bone.”

Presumably, a clarification will be forthcoming from his spokespeople. We’ll keep you posted.
