A morning news anchor with a voluptuous look is going viral for reading comments about her appearance on the air in her own serious broadcasting voice.
“She’s like the only fat 9 I’ve ever seen,” said Carissa Codel of Fox 49 in Missouri as she read one comment. “I’m rare. That’s what I get out of that,” she reacted.

Codel, who stands at 5-foot-3 inches weighing 180 pounds, has actually dropped 55 pounds within the last three years.
“I find it so funny, like, ‘Oh you think I’m big now, you should have seen me back then,” she told the New York Post. “I know who I am, and I know what I look like,” she said.
“It doesn’t affect me at all. I think that they’re hilarious. … I don’t put up the extremely mean ones, but I like the insults that are very creative,” she said. “My family is very thick-skinned, I’ve never been bothered by a lot of that.”
The anchor of “Ozark’s First” began creating the videos in August, with one from October collecting more than 5 million views on Instagram, where Codel has 222,000 followers.
