A candidate for Congress is being called out after she “rage-quits” an interview – she just shut the link down and walked out without letting the interviewer even know – following her indictment for fighting federal ICE law enforcement agents.
The candidate is Kat Abughazaleh, and she’s running for Congress in Illinois.
She recently was indicted for conspiracy and impeding federal law enforcement.
And while she agreed to be interviewed by podcaster Tara Palmieri, after the host played a video of the ICE incident, Abughazaleh didn’t stick around.

26-year-old congressional candidate Kat Abughazaleh, who was just indicted by the DOJ, rage-quits after being asked a few simple questions. @tarapalmeri: Did you etch the word pig on the side of an officer’s car?
Abughazaleh: I’m not speaking to the specifics.

Abughazaleh earlier had posted a video confirming her indictment, and her promise to “win.”
I have been charged in a federal indictment sought by the Department of Justice.
This political prosecution is an attack on all of our First Amendment rights. I’m not backing down, and we’re going to win. pic.twitter.com/szOSZa1h3z

The confrontation for which, apparently, she was indicted:
Meet Kat Abughazaleh, she’s running for Congress (IL-09) that’s her in the white shirt
And she’s committing a federal crime by impeding federal agts from doing their job
I’m calling on @Sec_Noem to submit a criminal referral to @TheJusticeDept on her
