In addition to the attack in Virginia on Thursday that left one dead and two injured at the hands of an ISIS-sympathizing gunman who the FBI says shouted “Allahu Akhbar” prior to opening fire, there was an attack in Michigan involving a rifle-wielding madman who crashed his car into a synagogue in a “targeted act of violence against Jewish community,” according to the FBI.
The attacker died on the scene – from either his vehicle catching on fire or by temple security, who immediately engaged him. The 140 children who were at the West Bloomfield Township synagogue child care center were unharmed, along with teachers and staff. One security staffer was reportedly injured but is expected to be okay. Eight first responders were also treated.
As Fox News reported, early details on the attacker were that the “vehicle used in the attack […] is registered to a naturalized U.S. citizen from Lebanon who lives in Dearborn, MI.”

That information has since been confirmed by DHS, which also provided the name of the attacker and other details:

The Detroit Free Press also reported that, per a neighbor, Ayman Mohamad Ghazali lived in Dearborn Heights and had a family member who was allegedly killed in an Israeli strike in Lebanon:
The department did not say where Ghazali lived. A neighbor told the Detroit Free Press he lived in Dearborn Heights, west of Detroit, and recently lost family in an Israeli strike in Lebanon.

The neighbor said Ghazali had a brother recently killed in Lebanon in an Israeli strike.
Meanwhile, as the wave of terrorist attacks on our homeland continues, Democrats remain committed to withholding funding from DHS:
