Did Biden Just Contradict What His Team Previously Said About His Prostate Cancer? – RedState

Joe Biden said some weird things during an encounter with reporters on Friday in Delaware.

He joked (was it a joke?) that he is mentally incompetent, and said he would beat up Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson, the authors of a book about his cognitive decline.

He was also very creepy with a female reporter, leaning in close to her and doing that weird whispering thing he does.

What stood out to me like a blinking light, though, was what he said about his recent cancer diagnosis, at about 33 seconds into the clip below.

Here’s what he said when asked about the prognosis and treatment:

Well, yeah. It’s all a matter of taking a pill, one particular pill, for the next six weeks, and then another one. And the expectation is we’re going to be able to beat this. It’s not in any organ. My bones are strong. It hadn’t penetrated. So I’m feeling good.

So that’s where I have a question. The prostate is an organ, and the prior statement that they released said it had metastasized to the bone.

“He was diagnosed with prostate cancer, characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with metastasis to the bone,” the statement read.

What Joe Biden is saying here certainly appears to contradict the prior statement.

Is he saying the prior statement wasn’t accurate or does he not understand the extent of the cancer?

He also made this comment, so maybe his coherence is an issue:

You notice that 12 of the 10 leading presidential historians rated me pretty good up on that list—and the guy I ran against, I rated him last. So, we’ll see.

Twelve of the 10?

What’s also strange is that after the media heard that comment about his cancer, the reporters didn’t see that question or didn’t pursue a line of questioning on it. I haven’t found any follow-up on that yet. It’s bizarre that the male reporter there doesn’t ask that question, but instead talks about Biden appearing powerful, when he looks anything but.

A lot of the questions that the doctors and media had about Biden’s cancer announcement were about the metastasis and how it could have progressed that fast, with some like Dr. Zeke Emanuel stating he believes Joe Biden must have had the cancer for some time if this was true.

Top urologist Dr. David Samadi questioned the timing involved in the announcement, and how they could have figured all that out from the report of finding the nodule to the diagnosis about the metastasis, which was just under a week.

So we’ll keep looking into this, but now Biden has only added more questions.
