Democrat power brokers are, and have been for some time, pushing term-limited California Gov. Gavin Newsom as the 2028 party presidential nominee.
That campaign theoretically could make Jennifer Newsom, his wife, an eventual first lady of the United States.
Who has a documented record of trashing some two-thirds of the nation.
California’s first lady been caught on a resurfaced video from just a few years ago lashing out at Christians and expressing confidence they are pulling the nation toward a place it’s not going to be.
Of course, World Data figures explain their estimates suggest 62% to 65% of the nation identifies as Christian.
That would be in the range of 210 million to 220 million. Of course, there are those who say they are Christian and still identify with the pro-LGBT social engineering ideologies, but even so, there would be in the range of 200 million people who could be expected to adhere to biblical principles.
Who all were lined up for a sock in the jaw from Newsom.
“There’s so much to learn from same-sex couples who have learned to communicate and who also are like, well, look, you know, someone’s got to do the care work in the same-sex male couple,” she said. “Someone’s gotta do that so I’m just gonna do it. And this is like and not be afraid or ashamed because it’s part of being human.”

She continued, putting the bull’s-eye directly on Christians: “We’re all on a spectrum, right. It’s just how society kind of pushes us and pressures us and to be limiting gender roles, but again the folks on the far right, they’re missing is uh just, this. They’re living in this silo. This evangelical conservative silo that ultimately uhm it’s it’s it’s just pulling us back as a country to a time and a place where we don’t deserve to be and we’re not going to be because, honestly, young women and fathers of daughters, are awake now and they’re woke and they’re not going to let us go back.”
The Daily Mail noted the comments were from 2022, and confirmed the comments resurfacing has “set off a firestorm.”
“Gavin Newsom’s latest wife attacks Evangelical Christians,” charged Richard Grenell, the former president of the Trump Kennedy Center for Performing Arts and a gay man himself.
Comedian and Heritage Foundation media fellow Tim Young noted on X, “‘Gavin Newsom’s wife is mentally ill. This isn’t how a normal person speaks… she reminds me of Tim Walz’s wife.”
The Daily Mail said, “Commentator Hannah Faulkner chimed in, adding ‘Liberal women are a threat to society,’ while National Republican Senatorial Committee staffer Sarah Gallagher said the clip ‘has to be an SNL skit.’”
And the report noted that while Jennifer Newsom is moving beyond the extremes, her husband “has moderated some of his positions in recent months as he looks toward a widely anticipated presidential bid.”
