Former White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre made headlines numerous times for her embarrassing moments/lies from the podium.
So, in honor of the news about her upcoming book, the one she’s peddling about her time in former President Joe Biden’s White House, we decided to look back at some of her greatest hits. And by greatest, we mean those moments, where her shilling for the White House and attacking members of the press, who questioned anything other than the narrative from the Biden White House, rivaled that of Saddam Hussein’s spokesperson, known as Baghdad Bob.
Let’s start with this one from Townhall Media’s Guy Benson from May 2023, when KJP claimed that illegal immigration had come down by more than “90 percent” under Biden. It was actually up with “a record-setting crisis” on illegal immigration, Benson said.
“KJP flagrantly lied about border crisis stats, then when Peter Doocy asked a substantive question challenging her false claim, she got snippy — and pretended she’d said something other than what she did (also dishonest),” Benson wrote.
When she said Biden had secured the border. It comes at the 1:05 minute mark in the clip titled Jean-Pierre’s “Five Top Lies.”
“The President has done the work to deal with what we are seeing on the border,” KJP claimed in another clip. “Since day one.”
The economy under Biden, she claimed, was the strongest in history, something anyone paying for groceries would know wasn’t true.
“When we look at where we are economically, we are stronger economically than we have been in history,” she said.

Jean-Pierre provided a lot of strikeouts during her memorable rookie season, for her own team. She lied about the border (almost mandatory if you work for Biden), renamed our northern neighbors as “Canadia,” got into an intercontinental battle over press freedom in front of the stars of Apple TV+’s “Ted Lasso” and said House Republicans want to “give asthma to our children” and let oil companies use chemicals that would “melt bones.” She even called her boss “President Obama.”
Then there was all the time KJP vowed that Biden would never pardon his son, Hunter Biden. This clip shared on X highlights all the times she was condescending to the press for even asking. And Biden did end up pardoning his son.
Shortly after taking over the job, KJP drew attention when she said it was “ridiculous” to compare her own denial of the legitimacy of Republican victories in 2016 and 2018 to Trump’s “extreme” rejection of his 2020 loss at the time, The New York Post reported.
In her post on X (formerly Twitter), she claimed [President Donald] Trump stole the election in 2016 from Hillary Clinton.

Who could forget about the lies about how Biden was fit as a fiddle and wasn’t stepping out of the race due to his evident decline mentally? It can be seen here.
Remember in 2024 when she famously told the press Biden was “as sharp as ever as I have known him to be in my engagement. In my experience with him.”
KJP went on to say, at the time, that:
“I’m just gonna say what [Biden’s physician] Dr. O’Connor said to me about a year ago when [Biden’s physical] was released,” Jean-Pierre said. “The president proves every day [in] how he operates and how he thinks, by dealing with world leaders, by making difficult decisions on behalf of the American people – whether it’s domestic or it’s national security. That is how Dr. O’Connor sees it, and that is how I’m going to leave it.”
Lest we forget, KJP also tried to push the lie that videos of Biden clearly declining were “cheap fake videos” created by the right wing, as noted here.
“I think you all have called these cheap fake videos, and that’s exactly what they are,” KJP said.
Just like KJP’s predecessor, Jen Psaki, these two make us glad that the Biden administration is over, and we get to watch Karoline Leavitt masterfully keep the press in line.
