The Walt Disney Company has been backtracking from multiple DEI policies over the last few months, with the latest being an apparent return of the classic loud-speaker greeting, “Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls …” at its theme parks.
The Blaze reports that in 2021, Disney confirmed it would stop using the classic greeting in its announcements. Instead the company replaced it with “Good evening, dreamers of all ages …”
This week, however, a sound file was posted on social media that includes parts of announcements on the monorail.
It was very nice to hear that “Ladies and Gentlemen” has returned to the Magic Kingdom Express Monorail recently! pic.twitter.com/PqtBI6u2qx

Music to some ears, the “ladies and gentleman” phrase was used during a reminder to use handrails on the ride.
