Massive Ukrainian Drone Attack Deletes a Third of Russia’s Bomber Fleet and Sends a Warning to the US

The close-in impact of the attack will be apparent Monday when Ukrainian and Russian negotiators meet in Istanbul. I wouldn’t expect a deal or even progress, but I would expect fireworks. I wouldn’t be shocked to see the Russians refuse to show up or storm out of the session.

However, the main impact of this extends beyond Ukraine and Russia.

CNN Trashes Kash Patel and Dan Bongino for Calling Colorado Pro-Hamas Terrorist Attack a Terrorist Attack

This kind of partisan garbage is why no one trusts the mainstream press.

Russia Hoax Architect Nellie Ohr Lied to Congress and the FBI and DOJ Covered Up the Investigation

Not only did Ohr not suffer any consequences for her lying, she never will. The statute of limitations on that offense has passed and she is home free.

Trending Across Townhall Media

Washington ‘Buyback’ Comes With Ridiculous Rules

These “buybacks” are a waste of time and money, and anyone in the Bellevue area looking to get rid of one or more firearms in their collection (or gathering dust in an attic, basement, or closet) would be much better off taking them to a place like Wade’s Eastside Guns, 2nd Amendment Industries, or West Coast Armory to see if there’s any interest.

Jamie Dimon: America Should Be Stockpiling Bullets

But even America can decline if we allow it–and then who will lead the world and to where?

CNN’s Sick Reaction to the Boulder Terror Attack

As for what happened in Boulder, since the attacker was parroting Hamas talking points, we have to “wait for all the facts” even though the suspects motives are quite clear.

Newsweek’s Line on the Difference Between Musk and Booker’s Salutes Was Truly Amazing Stuff

Those who did comment on it, like Newsweek, said the difference was that Musk’s gesture was more forceful or something.

Utter Malpractice: Lengthy Thread DEVASTATES Media’s Shameful Coverage of Boulder Terror Attack

It’s been this way for a while, but it is becoming so egregious as to be downright offensive.

WHAT’S ON TAP?

Today on Capitol Hill…

The critters are back at it this week, but no formal meetings or hearings are set for Monday. But it’s crunch time for the reconciliation bill, and the Senate has its work cut out for it. Expect there to be a lot of focus on the various factions and whether or not they can cobble something together that will secure 51 votes and then meet with House Republican approval so that they can send it to President Donald Trump’s desk.

White House What’s Up

President Trump will have lunch with Vice President JD Vance at 1:00 p.m. Eastern.

Second Lady Usha Vance has launched a Summer Reading Challenge.

Full Court Press…

There were several court moves on Friday related to the Trump administration’s efforts to address the massive influx of immigrants introduced by the Biden administration via the CHNV and Temporary Protected Status programs.

The Supreme Court will issue more opinions on Thursday, and, given that it’s June, we can expect them to start rolling out three or four at a time.

COMING ATTRACTIONS

Per the White House:

On Tuesday, June 3, 2025, Vice President JD Vance will attend American Compass’s The New World Gala at the National Building Museum in Washington, DC. Vice President Vance will participate in a discussion with American Compass founder and chief economist Oren Cass.

MORNING MUSING

There’s been a great deal of buzz in the past few weeks about the Jake Tapper/Alex Thompson book, “Original Sin,” much of it rightly critical of Tapper, in particular, for his role in helping Democrats and the Biden administration paper over the failing Joe, followed by his efforts to cash in on that same deception whilst absolving himself and his media peers of responsibility for it.

It’s hard to believe, but it was less than a year ago when we were being gaslit by that same media and the Biden White House over frozen, befuddled Biden, and the infamous “cheap fake” explanation was inflicted on us.

There’s spin — this is the world of politics, after all — and then there’s what Colonel Sherman T. Potter used to refer to as “horse hockey.”

My goodness, I do not miss the heaping piles of it shoveled at us by the Biden White House, even if their media co-conspirators remain intent on it. All one need do is glance at the coverage of Sunday’s terror attack in Boulder to confirm they’ve no intention of cleaning up their act.

LIGHTER FARE

I don’t know — maybe this is exactly what I needed.
