An official with the U.S. State Department has apologized to “Czechia” and Slovakia for the agenda of the Joe Biden administration to “queer” their maps.

Undersecretary of State Sarah B. Rogers had been called on by Rep. Brian Mast, R-Fla., during a recent congressional hearing to explain what that agenda was, and how one could be “queering” maps.

Rodgers posted, “Czechia and Slovakia are great countries. I’m sorry that my predecessors ‘queered’ your maps! This is why future public diplomacy grants will be streamlined, accountable — and channeled toward real American interests, like free speech and sports diplomacy.”

Social media commenters exploded with laughter.

One said, “Damn, we Czechs are rarely mentioned in the U.S. government hearings, and when we finally are, it’s this???”

Another pointed out the name is the Czech Republic.

Still another said, “Thank you @UnderSecPD! Maps should indeed be accurate, reflect territorial topography when needed, and never sacrifice reason/common sense to a bogus ideology.”

Another turned to logic: “how did you gay the map in the first place and why haven’t I seen it?”

A report at Not the Bee pointed out this was “NOT SATIRE.”

Mast asked Rodgers “Can you tell me, what is ‘queering’ the map?”

She said, “So, I think we were trying to make the maps more gay.”

Hmmm. Mast said, “Literally? How do you make a map more gay?”

Rodgers: “Since the age of cartography we had to do good maps, but maybe they weren’t gay enough. I know also – I took critical theory in college – I think sometimes people use queer as a verb. I do understand that the maps … were of Czechia and Slovakia so maybe those countries asked for it. I doubt it, but I don’t mind.”

Not the Bee pointed out there currently is an agenda called “Queering the Map” and it appears to let LGBT advocates post their comments and experiences, for whatever reason they think important.

The report said Joe Biden, whose promotions and advocacy for LGBT issues consumed his administration as he pushed the ideologies on children, Americans, foreigners and more, funded that project through the State Department.

Not the Bee noted, “I have to say, this my new favorite style of congressional hearing. Having Trump officials attempt to explain the clownish policies of the Biden administration? I could listen to this all day.”
