As RedState reported earlier, the White House held its annual Easter Egg roll event on Monday, and fun was had by all, including President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump, both of whom participated in some of the activities with the kids and who didn’t need their every moment scripted like certain past presidents.
One thing we also didn’t see during the White House Easter Egg roll was the Easter Bunny acting as a handler for Trump, as we saw from former President Joe Biden in one infamous moment that will go down in political history as one of the more embarrassing episodes of the Biden presidency.
For those who missed it, watch:

Trump even joked about it during the 2025 Easter Egg roll, asking, “Remember when the Easter Bunny took out Joe Biden? He’s not going to be taking Trump out!”

And speaking of bunnies, one of the most – if not the most – memed cabinet members in presidential history has to be Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who holds so many positions in the Trump administration that it’s become a running joke, which in turn has provided much fodder for meme makers.
Not surprisingly, the hilarious Rubio Easter Bunny memes were being posted at a rapid-fire pace on Monday and over the weekend. Here are some of them:

There was even one of Marco Rubio as a replacement for a missing Easter egg:

Most importantly, however, was the powerful message Rubio himself posted about Easter, done as only he can, and which, as of this writing, has been retweeted nearly 45,000 times:
He is Risen. pic.twitter.com/Dcop5hOFk1

He is risen indeed.
Editor’s Note: The 2026 Midterms will determine the fate of President Trump’s America First agenda. Republicans must maintain control of both chambers of Congress.
