The White House is firing back after Democrat Rep. Delia Ramirez (IL-3) sent a letter to the House Judiciary Committee on Thursday calling for a “complete investigation” of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem for “potentially impeachable actions.”
Ramirez accuses Noem of “unethical behavior” consisting of “misused resources” and “unethical behavior” along with making “false and misleading” statements to Congress about immigration enforcement operations.
“Secretary Noem has established a clear pattern of lawless behavior, mirrored in the behavior of rank and file members of her leadership team,” Ramirez writes. “When taken together, her actions violate her oath of office.”

White House Smacks Down ‘Total Fake News’ About Cabinet Member’s Ousting
White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson shrugged off the letter as little more than a PR stunt by the Democrats, suggesting Noem’s targeting is an attempt to divert attention from the administration’s successful efforts to enforce the law against criminal illegal aliens.
“Democrats will do anything to try and stop the Administration from deporting dangerous criminal illegal aliens,” Jackson said in a statement to RedState. “No amount of pointless PR stunts from the Left will distract us from fulfilling the President’s promise to the American people.”
“While Democrats side with dangerous criminal illegal aliens, the Trump Administration will always side with the American people.”

Democrat lawmakers have been engaged in a plethora of “pointless PR stunts” of late. Remember when impeachment was a rarely used tool focused on “high crimes and misdemeanors”?
Noem is the third member of President Trump’s cabinet to face calls for impeachment, whether through a recommendation or the introduction of articles—the third one … this week.
Just yesterday, Democrat Rep. Haley Stevens (MI-11) introduced articles of impeachment against Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Haley, who suffered a viral meltdown over COVID in 2020 that involved pink latex gloves and a plea for the American people to listen to Dr. Anthony Fauci, is upset that RFK has “turned his back on science.”

Not to be outdone, Democrat Rep. Shri Thanedar (MI-13) on Tuesday filed articles of impeachment against Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth over Signalgate and an alleged “double tap” strike on a suspected narco-terrorist drug boat.
The articles, he revealed in a video announcement on X, were “for murder and conspiracy to murder and reckless and unlawful mishandling of classified information.”
Which, to be fair, is not easy to make such a statement with a muskrat living on the top of your head AND with a straight face. So credit to Shri.

RedState’s Ward Clark earlier today reported that Congress’s one-trick pony, Democrat Rep. Al Green (TX-09), had another effort to impeach President Trump go down in flames.
Green forced the vote, and the House overwhelmingly tabled it 237-140, with 47 Democrats voting “present” and 23 joining Republicans to block it. Still, it was an attempt nonetheless. Meaning Democrats, just this week, have tried to impeach the President and three members of his cabinet.
When a privileged impeachment resolution hits the floor, Republicans can immediately move to “table” it (kill it outright) or refer it to the Judiciary Committee for indefinite delay. With their majority, this requires only a simple majority vote and has succeeded repeatedly.
For now. But these efforts, these “pointless PR stunts,” are about setting the table down the line. If Democrats regain control of the House after the 2026 elections, every single one of these impeachment efforts will get passed. And bet your ass, there will be at least a handful of Republicans who join them in the effort.
