White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt just concluded a press conference on Wednesday, and as you’d expect, she wasn’t taking idiocy from the media corps, and she fiercely defended Operation Epic Fury, the ongoing military action aimed at Iran. The joint U.S.-Israeli airstrikes stopped the pulse of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and have decimated their military.
She started things out with a statement, blasting some in the media for their “intellectual dishonesty” with their reporting on why President Donald Trump decided to call for the strikes now. The answer isn’t difficult to comprehend: the mullahs have been threatening the U.S. and the world for 47 years.

Leavitt went on to say that, unlike what some in the leftist media are reporting — that Trump acted at the behest of Israel, or that he’s Netanyahu’s puppet — the order to strike was well thought out and there was plenty of reason for it:

She said that although Operation Midnight Hammer, which blasted Iran’s nuclear infrastructure to smithereens in June of ’25, was an incredible success, Iran had remained “fully committed” to their program and refused to abandon it. This, despite Trump making it clear on multiple occasions that it had to go — or else.

She also paid tribute to the six service members who have lost their lives in the conflict.
