Democrats have a real problem on their hands in Texas.
We reported on some of the wild things said by the top Democratic candidate in TX-35, Maureen Galindo. This is just a small sample.
In an Instagram post last week, Galindo wrote that she will “turn Karnes ICE Detention Center into a prison for American Zionists and former ICE officers for human trafficking. (It will also be a castration processing center for pedophiles which will probably be most of the Zionists).”
Galindo came in first in the primary, but without enough votes to avoid a runoff, which is next week against the Democrat who came in second, Johnny Garcia.
She is now trying to claim her comments from her own social media were “mischaracterized,” and blaming other Democrats.

Meanwhile, Democratic House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (NY-08) is desperately scrambling to spin this Democrat. Listen to what he says here; you’d think she was a Republican.
People of goodwill have forcefully rejected the antisemitic and anti-American candidate in the TX-35 run-off.

Jeffries stated she’s been “roundly condemned by Democrats across the political spectrum,” and he claimed Republicans were “boosting her candidacy.”
He’s basing that on a report that a PAC, Lead Left, was supporting her, and they claimed there was metadata on its website that linked to WinRed, a major Republican donation platform. That sounds like a desperate excuse.
Asked about allegations that Republicans have backed Galindo, House Speaker Mike Johnson told reporters Wednesday: “Of course not. I didn’t even know this person existed.”
“I don’t know anything about it, except that these crazy comments surfaced yesterday, and a number of people sent it to me, and I thought this is a perfect example of where the Democratic Party is going,” he said. “We say all the time: This is not your father’s Democratic Party.”
Obviously, no GOP member has supported her or her comments.
That ultimately is the problem Jeffries and the Democratic leaders have here. They can’t spin this. This woman has been saying stuff for a while, yet Democrats still voted for her and put her number one. And if you check the responses to Jeffries’ comments on X, there are apparent leftists mad at him for attacking her. We’ve seen that the Democrats have a wide swath of leftists who are antisemitic.
Can we also talk about their Democratic candidate for Senate in Maine, the guy who had the Nazi tattoo, Graham Platner? He was also just exposed for making another incredibly disgusting comment, on a video that showed an American soldier being shot by the Taliban. “This video never gets old. Dumb motherf***er didn’t deserve to live,” Platner allegedly wrote.

And they wonder why people find Democrats too extreme? Where is Jeffries calling out how radical his own party has become? He’s still playing games here.
