Events like Saturday’s attempt on President Trump, which was the third, in case anyone doesn’t remember, seem to bring out the worst in the unhinged left. I mean, besides the unhinged leftist who made the attempt.
The latest example of this comes from a Wisconsin brewing company. Now, Kirk Bangstead, the brewery owner, did not use his personal account, mind you; no, this pathetic example of humanity used what looks like his brewery’s official X account to celebrate the attempt on the president and his administration officials who were there, including Karoline Leavitt, who is due to give birth at literally any moment.

Kirk Bangstead is, to apply the clinical term, nuts. Not only is he cheering on the would-be assassin, who was targeting not only President Trump but also others in his administration, as we see, he reportedly intended to hit as many as he could, but he was bragging that he would host a free beer day if the president had been killed.

I’m not one to quickly call for a boycott, but if this business doesn’t have one coming, I don’t know what might. Not all that long ago, mind you, this kind of rhetoric would have been roundly condemned by members of both parties, and this business would have been shuttered pretty quickly. Will that happen here? Who knows? But we’re seeing this kind of rhetoric more and more from the left, and while the only one directly responsible for the attempt on the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner was the accused perp, Cole Allen, this kind of statement can only serve to fan the flames.
To call this “irresponsible” is to engage in a gross understatement. This sure smells like incitement.
A cursory search of X did not reveal an account for the Minocqua Brewing Company, which makes one wonder if it has been taken down, but the internet is forever. Their Instagram and Facebook pages still appear to be up and running, as of this writing. Their web page offers products like “Progressive Beer,” “Choice Wine,” “WOKE Coffee,” and “Education Cider.” And, yes, that last one is pretty ironic.

Of course he is. And his Republican opponent, Rob Swearingen, has just been handed a big, beautiful cudgel to hammer him with.
If you happen to reside in Wisconsin’s 34th State House district, make sure you turn out and vote for Rob Swearingen. A guy like Kirk Bangstead should probably not be walking around unsupervised, much less serving as an elected official.
