‘Prayers and pressure worked!’ Persecuted Republican Tina Peters to be granted clemency, Dem senator loses his cool * WorldNetDaily * by Bob Unruh

Tina Peters

An announcement from Colorado Gov. Jared Polis, a proudly out multi-millionaire homosexual leftist who has been running the state for nearly two terms, confirms he’s bending to the will of President Donald Trump and granting clemency to Tina Peters.

She’s the former Mesa County clerk who, in pursuit of documenting 2020 election records, provided access to the election system to an outsider, and was jailed on multiple criminal counts by Democrats in the Democrat-run government in Colorado.

Polis lashed out at her beliefs, but pointed out that when the trial court judge did the same, it was an improper influence on her sentence, which was nine years before an appellate level panel threw it out weeks ago.

She’s remained in jail despite that improper sentence, but now it appears Polis’ “reduction” in her sentence to 4.5 years means she could be released within weeks.

Peters has submitted, and made available online, a pro forma letter in which she said she was “sorry” for “mistakes” during that election, “when allowing a person to gain access to county voting equipment.”

She added, “Upon release, I plan to do my best through legal means to support election integrity and based on my own personal experiences to elevate the cause of prison reform to help ensure the detention system is more fair and equitable for people of all ages.”

Sen. Michael Bennet, one of Colorado’s two leftist senators in the Senate, erupted in rage:

“I vehemently disagree with Gov. Polis’s decision to commute Tina Peters’ sentence. She broke the law, undermined our elections, and was convicted…” He demanded adherence to the “rule of law.”

Actually, the nine-year sentence already had been thrown out by the appeals system in Colorado, and a resentencing program was under way.

Theoretically, she could have been sentenced then to time served.

Polis noted that the judge improperly used Peters’ beliefs and ideas against her during sentencing, which violated her rights.

WorldNetDaily reported earlier on Trump’s opinion of Polis, regarding the Peters case.

He had said Polis can “rot in Hell.”

On social media, Trump posted, “God Bless Tina Peters, who is now, for two years out of nine, sitting in a Colorado Maximum Security Prison, at the age of 73, and sick, for the ‘crime’ of trying to stop the massive voter fraud that goes on in her State (where people are leaving in record numbers!). Hard to wish her a Happy New Year, but to the Scumbag Governor, and the disgusting ‘Republican’ (RINO!) DA, who did this to her (nothing happens to the Dems and their phony Mail In Ballot System that makes it impossible for a Republican to win an otherwise very winnable State!). I wish them only the worst. May they rot in Hell. FREE TINA PETERS!”

Trump earlier announced on social media:

“For years, Democrats ignored Violent and Vicious Crime of all shapes, sizes, colors, and types. Violent Criminals who should have been locked up were allowed to attack again. Democrats were also far too happy to let in the worst from the worst countries so they could rip off American Taxpayers. Democrats only think there is one crime – Not voting for them! Instead of protecting Americans and their Tax Dollars, Democrats chose instead to prosecute anyone they can find that wanted Safe and Secure Elections. Democrats have been relentless in their targeting of TINA PETERS, a Patriot who simply wanted to make sure that our Elections were Fair and Honest Tina is sitting in a Colorado prison for the “crime” of demanding Honest Elections. Today I am granting Tina a full Pardon for her attempts to expose Voter Fraud in the Rigged 2020 Presidential Election!”

WorldNetDaily reported on the decision in the case by the Colorado Court of Appeals, which threw out the nine-year sentence.

The trial court judge even then defended his attack on Peters during sentencing, when his rant abused Peters and made outside-the-judicial system accusations.

The judge, in fact, inexplicably verbally added accusations, without evidence, of Peters being a “charlatan,” trying to “pedal (sic) a snake oil,” preaching “lies,” “undermining” elections.
