Radical leftists don’t care about the impact of their harmful policies.
Washington State just passed a “millionaires tax” in April. When Seattle’s socialist mayor Katie Wilson was asked about it, she said she thought the fear people might leave the state over was overblown, but if they left, “Bye!”

Yep, bye to people who are contributing and paying taxes.
We’ve seen how this kind of idea is causing people to flee places like California, most recently with the departure of former Google co-founder Sergey Brin.

Leftists claim they care about people. But they don’t care about productive people leaving or reducing restrictions and taxes, so you have more productive people in their states. They want to have everyone be equally poor and under their control.
Then there’s the question about transparency, and being able to answer questions.
Wilson also sparked a lot of comment when a KOMO News reporter, Chris Daniels, asked her about a recent shooting that happened near an event she was at. While she said that it wasn’t targeted toward her, watch what happens when he tries to ask if she’s changed her position on surveillance cameras, that some residents think might help deal with the crime in the area. Her staff aggressively interrupts to stop her from answering.

Daniels tells them, “I mean, it looks worse when you jump in like that.” He wasn’t pressuring her or being impolite, just asking her a very normal question.
Her staff tries to put him off; he says he has to ask the questions people want answers to.
Isn’t she able to answer something that simple? They suggest that he contact her later for an answer when she could have just answered in the time they are stalling. They suggest he contact “Sage,” and he said Sage hasn’t returned calls.
Daniels turns to the camera at 2:10 with a look, like I can’t believe they’re doing all this and not just answering the question.
Finally, Wilson does come back and answer the question. Did they have to feed it to her? After all that time, her answer was still horrible. While she said that she thought such cameras could have a use, she said they had to make sure that the data wasn’t then misused by “federal immigration enforcement or by other bad actors.”
So her concern about helping the citizens is that it might expose problems with illegal aliens? Yikes. Oh, and she equates “federal immigration enforcement” with “bad actors.” And what bad actors is she even talking about?
This wasn’t the only time she’s had a problem with answering questions.
